In Chapter 10- I introduce Debra, the children's mother, and Aunt Gerty, their great Aunt. I also show how Mya is somewhat living a fanatical fantasy in which she and Alexus are the best of friends-BESTIES. Hoagie is emersed in an emotional struggle in relation to the recent separation of his parents and the return of his mother to the workforce.
